That's A Wrap, 2013

January 1, 2014
As we bid adieu to 2013, we prepare to welcome the new year with open arms. Whether you ring in the new year by watching the local city firework show, sharing a kiss with a significant other at midnight, watching the ball drop on TV or in Time Square, at parties, bars, or impromptu late night escapades and rendezvous -- make sure you are around the people you love and those who love you. It's a great start for your mind and soul if you start off in a positive note knowing that there are people who care about you in your life.

The Capricorn New Moon tonight is on New Years Eve, which never happens, and it's a Super Moon. This means it is extra potent. New Moons are new beginnings. The structures of your life are to be examined and changed as needed. This includes your relationships, health, finances, work and lifestyle. The Capricorn New Moon message is time to upgrade and improve your life. Take the time to check on your development. Think back to your personal improvements. Reflect on how much you learned, changed and grew this year. What people forget is to make time for themselves. Don't waste this energy gift to manifest the changes most needed. All the effort you put into yourself will be your silver lining.

A new year is a chance for monumental change and to cut all the ties that bind you to doubts, put downs and the past, and pursue in what makes you happy. It's also the time to reflect on the past year and be thankful to have been blessed with what you received, earned and given; and also for the trials and tribulations you experience to help you learn and take with you in the future. Wipe the slate clean, let go of grudges, cut out the bad things that are toxic in your life, resolve any issues. It's also an appropriate time to start re-inventing yourself to be a better version of yourself. Grow and mature, but also be true to who you are. Keep in mind that a new year doesn't mean old problems are gone, until you resolve it. It takes a lot of work and patience, but it will be worth it in the long run. While there may not be real do-overs, you have the power to keep from making the same mistakes over and over again.

Taking full control of your life and promise to live your life the way you want to, and keep that promise. That's all the resolution you need.

Happy New Year, 2014!
